I havent blogged in a while, so I figured I would. The Holidays are Over! Since I had to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, I didnt have a good holiday until Boxing Day (the day after Christmas for those not in the know)

Working in a call center can be bad sometimes, such as working holidays. I worked on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but I got New Years Day off. So I made the trek home to SouthEast Texas on Christmas day. The drive was not too bad, it was only five hours. I got in after ten pm and went to sleep shortly thereafter. On the 26th the family got together and we opened the presents. I think one of the best things about the holiday was that my niece was in good health and recovering from her surgery. On Dec 15th she underwent a 6 or 8 hour surgery to straighten her spine, she had scoliosis. She is doing good, and well on the mend. I went to see some friends and had a good time with them and my family.
New Years Eve, Beav and I went to a strip club; we had a fun time, and didnt get into trouble. Then I got back to work, and now my schedule has changed, but I knew it was going to.
Not a lot going on, Im working on a new hobby trying to get into something. If I like it, I might mention it later, if not, then itll fade away and no one will miss it.
This past weekend, I had a few buddies over to have a small LAN party. Beav and I played Mario Kart Double Dash while waiting on the rest of the crew. MKDD is pretty fun, and kinda goofy. One of the invited got wrangled into house cleaning by his girl-friend, so it was just three of us. We decided to play Never Winter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark- multiplayer. Needless to say, we didnt know that it was not really intended for multiplay. So we ran into quite a few bugs, and figured out some workarounds. IF you have any interest in this you can go to a thread about the game and reasoning for no multiplay and the workarounds.
We had a good time despite the bugs and the ninja looting.
Well, I think I had better wrap this up so that I can try to do something about the new hobby
