Stars Thomas Jane (The Punisher, Dreamcatcher) as Andre Stander a Police Detective Captain in South Africa who believes that he is in a corrupt system and decides to take the system head on as a bank robber. Based on the true story, with movie embellishments of course.
Set in the late ’70′s early 80′s the movie follows the end of Stander’s career as a cop and his rise and fall as a notorious bank robber. A little slow at first, the movie draws you in then speeds up into the action. The sheer audacity of some of the robberies is amazing! The film is very well done, good cinematography, a tight script, and well acted on all counts. I recommend finding this at the local video rental store, or Netflix it.
